We wanted to bring our expertise as a sleepwear & lingerie specialist, direct to you... so we created Marlon.

Our parent company, Marsylka, has been in business for over 85 years and with our heritage of designing and manufacturing classic nightwear and essential lingerie for many retailers within our industry, we know it inside out. We design all of our products in Britain and care about using great materials that last. We believe that quality and style shouldn’t wane with age and that what we wear should not only feel amazing to the skin but make us feel amazing too.

We're really proud to be able to launch our brands direct to our customers, both here with Marlon and soon our sister brand, Indigo Sky.

A family business

In 1936, our Grandmother Marjorie Hainsworth started Marsylka in her mother’s small back bedroom. She believed that women of all ages deserve beautiful sleepwear and lingerie to make them feel fantastic everyday without breaking the bank. It was a whole family affair, with her fiance Eric supplying her material from the knitting company he worked at and her sister in law Margaret supporting her.

Ever since Marjorie established Marsylka in 1936, we’ve continued to grow and evolve whilst keeping her vision in mind. We remain a family run business, based in West Yorkshire and we're pleased to continue our evolution as we bring our new brands direct to you, whilst still maintaining our traditional retail and wholesale business. 

Ethical and sustainable trading is also key to us at Marsylka. The factories we own in Sri Lanka are regularly audited by leading retailers and we are Supplier10 members of Sedex.  And we even have our own cricket team!
